Thank you again to everyone for the recommendations...we are looking into many of them and are re-tooling what we are thinking about doing...Paris greeters and just wandering the neighborhoods with local guides and seeing what we see..are moving up on the list and doing a few large group tours for the "have to go there" sites. Saving our money for a smaller tour at the Louvre I think. Wonderful advice though. Thank you to all and I will post what I find and how it all went!
