Paris USO and driving in Paris

Does anyone know where this is? We'll be in Paris at the end of November and plan on driving there from Luxembourg with our two young children. Our hotel will be near the USO. First question is about the USO's proximity to good shopping, Eiffel Tower, etc. Also, I'm concerned about driving within Paris. We live in Italy, and are fairly used to driving in European cities, but I would never attempt driving in Rome and I'm worried Paris might be the same. Has anyone here driven in Paris? Wish you hadn't?

This is the address to the USO in Paris, I'm sure you can just plug it into a site like mappy.com and get directions and a map printout of the area. Sorry, haven't made it down there yet to help you out more, have a great trip and enjoy Luxembourg (it's one of my fav countries so far!)

They have their own web site with a lot of info:

http://www.usoparis.org/

They appear to offer tourism-type service there, and can probably help you with questions. It is in-between ave George V and ave Montaigne, just south of the Champs-Elysees. Pretty nice neighborhood for military people to do shopping, wow is all I can say. Don't know what kind of shopping you want to do, but if it is luxury designer shopping, it is well situated for that. YOu can walk across the river from there to the Eiffel Tower, actually, without too much trouble, there is a bridge right down the street at place d'Alma.

I think you could manage to drive there to park the car, but you would not want to ever use it again until you leave, probably.
