Paris Tourist Guide

Please refresh my memory. There is a weekly publication available at newsstands in Paris that describes in English cultural activities for the week like cncerts, etc. What is the title of this publication?

Thanks.

Anthony

You're probably thinking of _Pariscope_. It's in French, but it has a small "Time Out" section in English listing the week's events.

I know there are some Paris magazines in English, largely for ex-pats, I think, and these should be obvious on a newsstand. I think one is just called Paris, but don't recall exactly. That is a monthly, though.

I thought they did away with the English language section in Pariscope some years ago, but I might be wrong on that as I usually don't buy it, as I prefer l'Officiel des Spectacles as it includes a TV guide. I know the one Pariscope I have on my desk from summer 2004 doesn't have any English language section in it.

I'll defer to Christina on the question about an English section in _Pariscope_. My point of reference is older than hers.

well, before you buy Pariscope, check to see if it has an English section, if that's important to you. I think it used to be at the very end of the magazine. In any case it was labeled "Time Out" and I think was due to a collaboration with that organization which may have ended.
