Paris to Greece
I am planning to go to Greece for 4 to 5 days after a business trip in Paris. Any idea where I can get some good prices on flights? I have looked into a few websites but didn't seem to have too much luck. Do you suggest taking a plane or ferry to go to islands such as Santorini? Thank you.

I recently booked a ticket for NYC to Greece (return from Amsterdam), and I'm planning to stop in Mykonos and Crete. My times were not flexible, so the tickets were pretty expensive. I finally just went ahead.
To save (very little) money, I ended up buying a round-trip ticket to Heathrow from a consolidator and I bought the remaining segments myself.
An option for you would be to fly open-jaw into Paris and out of Athens. Book the rest yourself.
Hellas Jet, Olympic and Air France fly outside between Athens and Greece. I didn't investigate Air France, but I ended up buying a one-way ticket on Olympic (Heathrow) to Athens for about $170. Try Olympic online and the fares may be quite competitive. Also if you fly directly to the islands (say CDG to Santorini) and you book the whole trip online on Olympic, this can be cheaper than buying the two segments separately. For example, Heathrow to Mykonos was $230, but Athens to Mykonos was slightly over $100.
I investigated ferry schedules a little, but because my own schedules were quite tight, I found that it was easier for me to fly. There're usually several flights a day for the popular islands, but the ferries run less frequently. That said, ferries can save you some money. Plan on spending about 75-80 Euros if you fly for each segment, whereas a ferry trip costs about 30 Euros.

Don't forget to check Aegean for flights to the islands. I ended up passing up on the discount I could get by booking the segment Athens to Mykonos on Aegean rather than Olympic. The connection seemed to me to better at that time -- now I'm not so sure.

Check for charter flights from Paris direct to Santorini. I know they exist, but I can't remember the name of the companies that offers them. With such a short stay I doubt you'll want to waste time on the ferry or with a connecting flight in Athens if you can avoid them.

That's good advice. I checked here
http://www.skyscanner.net/airport/jt...santorini.html
and whichbudget.com, though, and I can't find charter airlines from Paris.
That said, I did try to investigate charter flights from London to Mykonos. Excel flies this route, I think. I spent a fair amount of time investigating charter flights based on what I could find on the web and I found that the schedules were always somewhat limited. But your experience can vary. Anyway, I just could not find anything that would fit my schedule.

Here is a link for a cheap flight from Paris to Santorini. I'll post others as I find them. You didn't say when you're travelling, so I just arbitrarily set the dates from Paris to Santorini at June 12-17.
