Paris to Beaune Day Trip
We are leaving for 1 week in Paris in 2 weeks and are planning on just enjoying Paris for the week with the possible exception of one day trip. My daughter would like to travel Paris to Beaune or Paris to Digon for a day trip. I have several questions I am looking for help with. 1. Travel time from Paris to Beaune or from Paris to Digon. 2. Easiest way to travel there.

Easiest way to either is by train.
There are pretty frequent TGV trains to Dijon that take 1 hour 40 minutes.
There are some direct trains from Paris to Beaune that take as little as 2 hours 12 minutes. More trains have a change and take longer.
Both routes depart from Paris Lyon station.

Hi CF,
With only a week, I would stay in Paris.
What is in Dijon or Beaune that you can't find in Paris?
However, schedules and tickets are at www.voyage-sncf.com.
PREMS fares are as low as 34E pp each way - 2cl, 49E 1cl.
Reg price is 50E in 2 cl.

I'm sure both cities are somewhat similar to Paris in some ways. But they seem to have unique qualities too. True a week in Paris goes quickly, but as a daytrip either Dijon or Beaune should be a good visit if your daughter really would like to go.
