I am topping this instead of starting a new thread. I was curious about this, as I spend so much time on the Left Bank. I'd love to hear some more insights!

Thanks for resurrecting this! Here are my own updates:

In 2009, we visited the Marché Belleville just 'north' of Pere Lachaise (having been to Parc de Belleville in 2008) ... We looked through the St Vincent cemetery in Montmartre and the Eglise St Pierre-de-Montmartre (with its alleged Roman pillars) ... We also covered Parc de Bercy (very beautiful and expansive) and crossed the Passerelle Bercy / Simone de Beauvoir bridge ... We mingled at the Marché aux Puces Montreuil, very colorful and junky ... and I finally went inside Opera Garnier, saw the beautiful marble staircase, chandeliers, and a good glimpse into the auditorium to see the stage backdrop and the Chagall ceiling.

This April we will go to the Printemps roof terrace for coffee and an overlook, and note what they're selling on the sidewalks ... We're going to stroll through the Passage des Panoramas ... Planning to climb the Sacre Coeur dome (been to Montmartre area many times but not up the dome) ... I also want to have a look at the Jardin du Bassin de l’Arsenal at the foot of Bastille, see the boats moored there, have a little snack picnic, etc. ... We will go to the Musée des Arts Décoratifs (part of the Louvre) and see something different there . .. Can't wait!
