Paris revisted. 5 week trip report.

This is our third 5 week stay in Paris.
We have rented a 1 bedroom apartment near le Buci, on the left bank 6 Arr. some 500m from the Seine. This allows us to walk to many interesting areas.
My wife's objective is to reinforce her french.
I am a travel photographer, and my objective is to improve on my present collection of Paris images.
So there will be a lot of walking the streets, and we will revisit most of the famous sites from a photographers angle, but will provide advice that may help readers get the most out of their visit.
We are taking lunch at different restaurants in the area and some of the more reasonably priced outstanding Parisian restaurants, that do not require booking well in advance. Will provide a review.
The first 2 of 5 weekly trip reports are complete and as they are illustrated I have published them at http://www.artphototravel.net/travel-twitter/

Perfect info!! Thank you Les, you for sharing this info. Will be staying on Rue de Buci next month, so particularly enjoyed comments about the location and the map with red arrows . I like your ("vgood" etc) concise reviews of restaurants, and tip about making lunch the main meal. Anything else specific that you recall would be much appreciated as well.
Thanks again.

A lot of people think that Paris stays mostly the same, but as you point out in your report, restaurants can change very fast! It's one of the reasons that I am not really faithful to specific restaurants.
