DebitNM, we usually make reservations to avoid traveling to a restaurant and finding we cannot be seated and then, reading every menu within the vicinity trying to decide on Plan B, always certain that the one just up the street might be better.

We often have our main meal at lunch....same food in many instances at cheaper prices. Then we buy wine, bread, cheese and fruit to have in the apartment for dinner. It works for us as we usually stop back at the apartment after a day of touring anyway before we head out again and I can only eat one big meal a day. Or we'll go back out and grab a snack and wine.

Thanks Judy. We will most likely do our main meal at lunch and perhaps a few dinners out. We will do breakfast and most dinner simply, in the apt.

I wasn't clear, I was asking about dinners and lunches in general, not just at these 2 restaurants.
