Paris: Places to eat in the 6th Arr. -and- Velib bike rental question

Kurosawa, unfortunately, I did not get a chance to try out Velib for this time. My plan was to first a bike tour on one of the earlier days, get used to the city a bit, then use Velib on a subsequent day(s). Just a lot to do in this beautiful city, didn't get around to taking the bike tour. I want to visit Paris again pretty soon...this time, I want to have more days there and do some of the stuff I missed out on during my first trip.
cynthia_booker, I hear you. I too had lists of places I wanted to try out. Did the same as you mentioned for lunch, just went to what was convenient at the time. The 6th arr. had lots of great options for dinner.
