Restaurant near Rue De Seine Latin Qtr
We are with family and would like a restaurant near Rue de Seine. I am hoping we can find something 20-25 Eurs. If we can get something thats decent French it would be a plus. please let me know if you know of anything good and decent. Anything in the latin Qtr would be fine,.

There's the rue Gregoires des Tours which is between rue de Buci and Blvd.St.Germain and the whole street is restaurants. There are different types. There's also Fish Restaurant on rue de Seine between rue de Buci and rue de Seine that has been reported as being very good. There are a lot of restaurants in that area. That's my neighborhood of decades. Just stroll the streets and take notes of the different ones. Happy Travels!

There are loads of restaurants on rue de Seine, Fish and Le temps Perdu are on Seine. Del Papa on rue de Buci, Vagenade on Blvd SG, Aux Pre Clercs is on rue Jacob about 2 blocks down
There is a nice wine bar/charcuterie on rue de Seine. Paul is there. You won't want for choices.

We have at least one meal at L'Insulaire, rue Gregoire de Tours near rued de Bucci when in Paris. Its tiny, has a long open window onto the street. Serves a three course French dinner in the region of 13-19euros. Wine would take it to your 20-25euros. The hostess is very friendly and has many customers from all over the world coming back regularly.
My first introduction to this little gem was by ggnga, a Fodorite from Hawaai. I am from South Africa.

Yes, their A la Carte would be over your budget if you had more than just a main course, but I've never been to a restaurant that does not have a lunch & dinner formule` for almost the price of one main dish.

We discovered Cafe de la Tourelle last trip to Paris and loved its traditional French food. It has a 24 euro menu that includes entree, main course, and dessert. House wine is good, nicely priced. It's at 5, rue Hautefeuille, which is about a 7 min. walk from rue de Seine, towards Blvd. St. Michel. It's tiny so go early or make reservations.

Chez Fernand has a prix-fixe menu at lunch that is under 20 euros. Dinner is another story; we ordered off the carte, and I must admit the tab was quite a bit more. I also didn't mention La Palette because it isn't family oriented, but it is a historic site you should check out.

I really see no reason for you to be limiting yourself to the Rue de Seine area. We usually stay on Rue Jacob but bus all over the city to dine at different places. You are close enough to the Isles , where there are several restaurants that meet your critrea.

Well the Fodorites are truly amazing as usual. We ate at Le Temps Perdu on Rue de Seine thanks to oakglen and avalon and all the rest who responded. I mentioned to the waiter, when we arrived, the recommendation came from the fabulous Fodorites. It was truly a French dining moment since it seemed the waiter double cheek kissed everyone who entered the restaurant. They all must be regulars. When we first arrived with my wifes elderly parents, we were told that the restaurant needed a few more minutes to prepare. We we went across the street to my favorite cafe Bar Du Marche and had drinks in the outdoor cafe. It was fabulous with a view of the Paris street scene. Next we went over to the restaurant and ordered off the Prix Fixe menu and the ala carte menu. Both were reasonable and delicous. The chicken dishes were hot and tasty and so was the steak. The Mussels soup was excellent as well. This restaurant was very good since we are renting an apartment right on the block and our elderly folks nad they could not walk that far. We still have another night to go for the other choices. Thanks to all Fodorites you are the best and never cease to amaze me.

Le Temps Perdu is very good. I love the avocado and grapefruit salad. I've eaten there since the early 90s, I think it's been. It was close to my hotel of 9 years, at 52, rue de Seine and will be next door to my upcoming apartment building. Smiles. Happy Travels!
