Paris: Passport photo shops in the 5th or 6th
Thanks Annhig!
I have printed two photos from flickr which may or may not be sufficient for the Grand Palais ticket checkers. I have a Carte Sesame but no photo. I was kind of wondering why I was not prompted for a photo when I was pulling it from the FNAC site, because I was told there would be a need for a photo previous to that.
At any rate, no time today - flying out tonight!
I will not be going to this exhibit until Sunday so I can get my photo taken in Paris somewhere tomorrow.
Any ideas? I imagine there are regular photo shops which will do this, but I've no idea where they are. I plan to spend tomorrow in the 6th and I am staying in the 5th so any advice would be great.
Although I suppose I could swipe the photo from my Intl Driving Permit, which expires in May. It might have a stamp across it though.

That's what I was going to say, they have those photo booths in lots of the major RER/metro stations. it doesn't have to be a big train station, they are all over. I know they have them in the St Michel RER station.

oh flygirl.
I wasn't sure whether you would see my post on your last thread. when I asked the chap on the sesame desk what happened if you didn't bring a photo, he just shrugged in that irritating way that they have!
i was promted to bring it by something I read on the website, I can't remember what.
bon voyage!

My guess is that they would just take the paper? While I certainly hope I get back to Paris before August 31 (I guess the one year started in August 2010!) there are no guarantees and it wouldn't be the end of the world as long as I got in the first time.

anyway, flygirl, you will love the exhibitions.
there are some nice cafes/patisseries near the La Muette metro stop [the nearest to the Marmottan] which we didn't stop at as we were still full of our lunch at le cinq.
IIWY, I'd leave some room for them!
