Paris Opera December 26

Greetings,
Dh and I will be in Paris for 10 nights - friends who live in Germany part of the time will be coming over for 25- 27. We are interested in maybe the opera or a show the evening of the 26. I have no idea of where to even begin to look.... It will just be the four of us going out for the night...
Let me know
Best,
Dawn

At the Opera Garnier, the ballet Raymonda is being performed. There are no tickets left via the internet but today the tickets go on sale via telephone.

At Opera Bastille, Hommage to Maurice Béjart and there are some tickets still available by internet.

I would not count on there being seats available when you get to Paris. I ordered tickets ahead through the Paris opera website for ballet and opera for my trip last month, and all performances were sold out when I got there.

For other ideas for shows, try www.fnac.com, and click on "spectacles". I just did a search for "concerts", then selected Paris and December 26, and got a list of five pages worth of shows, including some operas in venues other than the two main opera houses.

You can then either order tickets through the fnac website or go to the websites for the venues themselves.
