Paris Nuite Blanch venues

We will be in Paris for Nuite Blanche this year. A few years back, we stayed in the Marais & "experienced" Nuite Blanche there.

If anyone else has been there for Nuite Blanche, and has perhaps visited several venues - which are the best (your definition of best - and why). Also I believe there is a web site for Nuite Blanche - anyone have it??

hi, stu, if you are doing research, the word for night in French is nuit (not nuite). Perhaps that's why you can't find the website.

It is a feminine word so blanche is the correct adjective, but nuit is a noun and is only spelled nuit.

Because it is a city thing, it's website is part of the city of Paris website www.paris.fr

You can find it on there if you put the correct words in the search box, or this should resolve to it

Thanks Christina. It took me 3 years to get through 2 years worth of High School French (and then it was all Cs). Luckily, my wife speaks excellent French - I should have asked her how to spell it.

The Nuit Blanche venues for 2008 will not be announced for several months yet. Since it moves around every year, you can cross a few of the outer locations off your list already -- however, there are always lots of things in the center no matter what.

I don't really recall much ever happening in the 14th, 15th and 16th, so I would say the 14th is a sure bet. As the municipal elections are coming up, if ever the 15th fell into control of the municipal majority (not likely) next month, there would be things there for sure. As for the stodgy and ultra conservative 16th, don't count on it.

I think it's too early to get the plan for this year and the venues change every year. Take a look at this:
