Kerouac,
Agreed, "the transportation options are excellent". We have been to Paris a few times and have favorite restaurants in other parts of the city, however, it is not an issue of transporation but mobility. Joan has posted that taking buses at times can be easier than having to tackle the metro stairs, therefore, we may do more buses than metro this trip. Our goal is to venture out daily to see the beautiful decorations at the various stores and to see the lights we hear so much about. Hopefully, if we are still out and about as dinner time approaches we will definitely take advantage of having dinner in other areas outside of the 7th.
One question, I/we have a Carte Orange and hear that it has been elimitated. We are bringing new photos for a new metro/bus card. Will you kindly advise what is the name of the new card and where we may obtain one in relation to the 7th?
Merci beaucoup
