Paris Métro to CDG. What happened?

When I go to RATP website, it tells me aucun trajet to CDG from Bastille or Nation. But i can go by bicycle in a couple of hours or so. Google says just go to Opera, walk a ways, and catch the Roissy bus.

What happened to Line 2 when I wasn't looking? Is this temporary?

I do not understand. According to the official web site, you can take RER A to Chatelet and from there RER B to the airport.

Ah, thank you, Michael. I was looking at the RATP site. The wrong one, I guess.

But I could have sworn you used to be able to go to Nation Métro and take one train to CDG terminal 1. Métro, line 2, not RER. Admittedly I haven't been in that neck of the woods for seven years.

The métro never went to CDG, it always was the RER.

exactly, line 2 goes east west across Paris. The RATP website runs the rer also and will show you the route via line 1 then RER B on their itinerary function. The RATP website has a complete system map also.
