I wonder what exactly a "troll" is and why they would spread rumours. It is very hard to get a reservation at Des Grandes Hotel. Would someone do it to make it easier for them to get a reservation?

I thought it sounded fairly true to life, but I did wonder why the bedbugs only hit after four days. They were pretty specific about whatever it was that attacked them, though.
I can't imagine that someone might make this up in order to scare people off so they could get a room! But then I am naive and trusting.
