Paris hotels
I am going to Paris with my two daughters (15 and 18). Any comments regarding hotels would be greatly appreciated!! We are thinking of staying at a hotel in Le Marais (near the Place des Vosges) - but I am having second thoughts. We would really like to find something nice, quaint, small and in a local vibrant area - centrally located. Any thoughts....

panchina - I highly recommend Hotel Des Grandes Ecoles - 3 star hotel just a minute from Place de la Contrascarpe with all it's lively cafe`s and restaurants.
We were there a few short weeks ago and found it utterly charming!
Only thing is ---- it is highly sort after so unless you are booking w a a a a a y in advance, you won't get in.

Hi P,
We always stay at the Hotel Bonaparte, 61 Rue Bonaparte in the 6th. 179E for triples w/bkfst.
It might be cheaper for a dbl w/an extra bed.
It is located near 3 metro stops and 4 bus routes. Has AC and an elevator.
