We are II members also. We have exchanged a number of times and had good success. Several years ago, we put in an exchange request for Paris and were confirmed in the Citadines Republique even though it was not on the II list and hasn't been since. Go figure. Some of the II hotels are on the outskirts of Paris, but for a free week, I would risk it. As you can imagine a Paris exchange is very difficult to obtain. BTW, Marriott is building a timeshare at Euro Disney.
