Great article! Thanks for the post.

My friends stayed at Hôtel du Séjour when we were in Paris over the New Year. This is in a fantastic area and the woman who owns it is very nice- we met her.

The climb up the stairs is indeed steep (you'll work off those croissants) but it is indeed a great cheap find in Paris!

To Al,
I think it means the ground floor. In Europe the first floor is what Americans call the second.

Now that I've read the article, I'm confused about the Hotel de Lille.
The one in this article is on rue de Pelican. The one I've read about in other places is on rue de Lille.
