Paris hotel w/2 connecting rooms
Looking for hotel in *any* arrondissement; 3 to 4 stars; very quiet when windows closed; balcony would be a nice touch. Have stayed at Fleurie & Le Tourville. Le Tourville was fine, but rooms ill-designed so need to move TV to open window or armoire (nuisance) and no mini-bar. (Do not want to rent apartmnt.)
Would appreciate all suggestions.

Check Holiday Inn Republique I believe they have some connecting rooms (if I am wrong, I'm sorry). I know their rooms that look into the courtyard are very quiet (we had one). There was a minibar and even a window in the bathroom. We did get upgraded from a standard room so maybe that was why we also had a bathroom window
The room was not large but had a queen bed, etc.,nicely tiled bathroom & separate WC. For connecting rooms I would call the hotel directly. Websites never give that kind of info and "800" operators only read what is on the web when it comes to descriptions.
Hotel Relais Bosquet (7th Arr) has rooms that connect off a small hallway that has a separate door to the main hallway - they are "family rooms". We did see them when we stayed there (doors open/maid cleaning). Again, I would call the hotel directly tho. Our "superior room" at this hotel was very quiet and we looked out at the street.

Try the Hôtel Mansart, in the 1st; it's right off the Place Vendôme and shares a wall with the Ritz.
The hotel is very Old Paris in feel; our superior twin on, I think, the second floor had a door into the adjoining room. The room was large for Paris and had an equally large bathroom. I don't remember a minibar, however, but we didn't need one and might not have noticed it.

I like the Hotel Lutetia. www.lutetia-paris.com. They not only have connecting rooms but the hotel often offers a family rate in which you can get 50% off the second room.
