Francewithfive.. when I took my 11 yr old daughter she found ( and still recalls ) the Shoah Memorial and being her most impactful memory.. ( which is actually a museum not just a memorial ) on Rue Geoffroy L'Asnier in the 4th .
She had just finished reading a bunch of books like Sarahs Key, and Hiding Edith..( recommend both ) as well as Ann Frank.. so visiting a shoah museum had a lot of meaning to her.
Also.. strongly recommend you take your daughter on a bike tour to Monets Gardens.. the one I did with Fat Tire Bike tours is literally one of my top fun memories. Out of the city, cycling along a very nice path along the river.. I don't even care much for Monet.. but it as such a nice change from city touring about. We stopped at a market and everyone bought their own lunch supplies.. then we stopped by the side of the river for a picnic . .
Riding is 95% on bike path or quiet roads.. and 95% level and flat..
