Hotel in the Marais in Paris

Hi, any suggestions for a hotel in the Marais for a friend travelling with her 14-year old daughter? "Don’t need spacious or fancy (or expensive), but character and charm would be nice!" Thanks.

I've stayed here several times, and really like it. It's not too expensive either and the location is great. However it gets booked up well in advance, so good luck.

We have stayed at the Hotel de la Bretonnerie. One pays more for the larger rooms, of course, but we liked it.

Hotel Beaubourg is next to the Centre Pompidou. My brother once stayed there and liked it.

You'd better let them know they're not likely to find "spacious".

Try Hotel Saint Louis Saintonge, terrific.
Or Hotel Ecole Central usually has a deal on booking.com, rooms are tiny but do have 2 twin beds.

Agree with Tuscan regarding the Bretonnerie. Very nice hotel and reasonably priced.

It's on the edge of the marais but near republique square the hotel Gabriel. We enjoyed are stay. The staff is outstanding and the breakfast if very nice. 10 min walk to repulique metro station will take you anywhere you want to go.
