skz5: Thanks for the suggestion. The apartment looks wonderful is available when we need it. However, the owner confirmed the dimensions of the bed and we cannot manage in a double. My husband is 6'4". The search continues!

200 cm long is close enough to 80 inches that it shouldn't matter, it is about 79 inches. The width may be less than a king slightly (180 cm=71 inches), but that doesn't matter if the issue is the length. 160 cm is actually wider than a US queen by a bit.
