Paris airfare
Looking at a RT airfare of $570 on Delta/Air France from JFK to CDG for the 1st week of November. Is this a good deal? It seems to be, but I thought I would get some opinions.
Thanks

It's a good deal if it includes taxes and other charges.
By the way, I don't know how big your budget is, but check out L'avion, the new all-business class discount carrier that flies EWR to ORY (which is closer to Paris than CDG). It sometimes has good promotional fares (probably double the one you mentioned, but then again, you get to fly business class.)

If that's the total price, yes I think it's a good deal. I got 763.00 round trip for SFO to Paris last year, and I jumped on it. I was seeing fares prior to that from 860.00 to as high as 1400.00.

envoyage-- for your route and dates, the fares for Oct are not the best right now.....the cheapest right now is around $860 + taxes; hardly a deal (airfare.com). Try other airports and/or Lufthansa is pretty good about letting go seats at lower prices periodically, so keep checking. Also try trekkers.com.
