Auto enthusiast looking for Italian Auto/Motocycle museums, tours, etc.?

DH would like to check out some Italian Autos/Motocycle museums, factories or tours during our October trip.

Any suggestions/thoughts on these type of excursions nearby to Florence, Genoa or Tuscany regions?

(we located the Ferrari factory in Maranello, but it's a distance away and the Italian Scooter museum in Pisa is closed indefinitely)

It's only about an hour from Florence to Bologna. The Ducati museum site has very specific directions about how to reach it on public transportation.
