Paris again..where to stay?

Ok dear friends and all Paris lovers~we are headed there for the third time. The two prior times we have rented an apartment and spent 2 nights at the Hotel Jardin des Lux. We really are right bank fans but would welcome some tips on Left bank places. We are thinking the Bretonnaire(sp?) as we will be there over the weekend at the front end of the trip and are great fans of the Marais. On return we are coming from Switzerland with 2 nocs before departure to SFO. How is the George IV? Any other ideas
which would allow us relatively easy departure to CDG? (I wish to avoid hailing down a cab myself en francais in the early am)

Are you sure you don't mean the George V ? Out of my price range , way out!!
Did you mean Henri IV ?
You don't have to hail a cab, have the hotel desk order one for o you the night before.

You don't hail down a cab yourself - you ask your hotel to arrange one to pick you up at a specified time for the morning you need them.

Hi Pam!

Greetings from across the Bay; I'm in Berkeley.

The George V is a very luxurious Four Seasons hotel. It's a Virtuoso property, and they offer a complimentary breakfast each morning and upgrade on arrival if available if booked through a Virtuoso agent. [Disclaimer: I am a Virtuoso agent].

If you'd rather be on the Rive Gauche, the Virtuoso property is Hotel Lutetia. There are quite a few absolutely grand hotels in Paris.

For your easy departure to CDG, your TA (or the hotel's concierge) can book you a limo from your hotel to the airport. Just appear at the front door at the set time with your bags, and you're off!
