Paris, a few notes
Samartine: The green light has been given . Work will start in 2011 but puts an end to
the hopes of some who wanted it restored to its original glory. It will have house shops aimed at the general public, including a convenience grocery store, offices. a hotel, a center forconferences and international meetings and 7,000sq.m. of social housing.
Musee de l'Orangerie: It is offering a long-trem musical installation to illustrate a permanent collection. Every Saturday 10:30am to 1:30pm and at 4:30 to 6pm in the
two rooms displaying the Nymphias.

The city's first charity shop i(n the Bastille neighborhood) offers exclusive designer items at low cost, a bookstore with books donated by publishers and the public,
a notions store, a children's section surrounded by a home decoration space and a tempting restaurant serving reginal produce. Profits go to a humanitarian
association that works with children in Madagascar.

Bobby Brown, Mark Jacobs, Stella mcCarthney have opened boutiques.
Lauderee, n the 8th has opened a new bar(rue Lincoln) described as being
in sumtuous surroundings. Their gift boxes and tote bags have Eiffel tower designs.
alain ducasse has opened a cooking school for the public165 euros per half day.
four kitchens,a wine cellar,and a store 64 rue du Ranelagh 16th
