Palazzo Valentini tickets - what am I doing wrong?

I am pretty sure this is simply a case of sheer stupidity or not enough caffeine, but I am trying to buy tickets to Palazzo Valentini for July, and I cannot get the calendar to move forward. I would like the tour in English, and I understand that there is only one per day.

What am I doing wrong? Thanks in advance.

I couldn't move the calendar beyond April, but I didn't register/log in. Are you logged in? If it still won't cooperate, just call or ask your Rome hotel to book your tour. The booking number is shown on the main website.

Good luck! It looks like an intersting excavation.

There's a good chance they simply aren't selling them that far out yet.

Thank you for the replies. Odd last night when I did a search on this site of "Palazzo Valentini", your thread came up Indy-dad, but not the one you have attached..... Actually, I had read your blog when you were in Rome, and bookmarked it for reference. The Palazzo is no longer an obscure site as it is now #1 on tripadvisor Things to do in Rome!

I will try and call and see if anyone speaks english. It is odd that you can't buy a ticket more than two weeks in advance. I am going to try and call Pierrici tomorrow as well.

Thanks again.

Curious to see what you find out. I tried to book a tour in mid-May and can't get the calendar to go further also. It appears to book only two weeks in advance.

The previous links are helpful and appears that there is only one English tour per day at 13:15?

I didn't call Palazzo today after all. I tried Pierrici for Colosseum tickets first, and after waiting on hold for 10 minutes three times, I was disconnected each time. I was feeling a bit hostile after that!

I won't be in Rome until July, so I am going to see what happens on the Palazzo site come April 30th. If you are successful before then, please post.

lmont - Tickets at Palazzo Valentini are now available for May. They don't seem to have loaded anything after May.

I still am unable to get tickets for July, however when I checked in this morning, the price now says 11.50 euro. Wasn't it 7.5 euro? Did the entry fee just get 50% more expensive?
