Hi, I read your Paris trip report, and asked a couple of questions, but guess you miissed it.
Do you recall how much your cab fom the train station to apt was? We are at HenriIV Rive Gauche which is quite close to your apt, I understand.
Also arriving in Paris from London via Eurostar. Were the pre-reserved cabs offered to first class passengers only?
Thanks for your help.

I'm not NP - but to answer your ??
The price of a taxi to that hotel (or to anywhere in Paris) varies a LOT depending on the time of day/traffic. €40 up to €55 or even more depending.
As far as I know it is only 1st class passengers who can pre-reserve a cab via Eurostar.

I think that's right about only first class passengers reserving a cab (Thalys as well as Eurostar). But this was the first time we've ever encountered such a delay with the taxi line at Nord.
But to answer your question, our taxi from Gare de Nord to our apartment (I had him let us out at Rue St. Jacques and Rue St. Severin) was 15 euro. It was actually something like 13, but I gave him 15. I was surprised it seemed so low as there was a LOT of traffic and it was between about 1:30 and 2 PM.
I think janis was thinking you were coming from CDG? That's what those fares sound like.

tropicalkerry,
I know you're coming from the train station.
We came to the Henri IV Rive Gauche from CDG and it was 19E for each of us. Maybe you can ask the hotel (it was Nathalie who helped us) if the car service also serves the train station. That way, if there's a flat rate, time of day and traffic won't be such an issue.
