Packing for Prague

What color clothing should I pack for my trip to Prague so as to not stand out as a tourist? I haven't travelled to Europe in 15 or more years and never to Prague. Do I need to stick to just black or dark colors? I found myself feeling very conspicuous in China when wearing a print blouse.

Any advice is appreciated!

That's easy--the colors on the Czech flag are red, white, and blue. So wear red, white, and blue everywhere.

Wear the clothes that are comfortable, within reason, of course.
Dark colors make sense b/c they don't show the dirt as much. If you are going during the colder season, you'll be wearing a coat so it won't matter.

Does anyone remember that Wendys commercial? Thankfully, the days of "Svim Vear" and "Evening Vear" are long gone. So wear whatever you like! Have a great trip

I was there in September. You can wear pretty much anything you like. I think the Czechs will know you are a tourist anyway. I have to admit that I did not see a lot of prints, though. I did see an alarming amount of camo worn by people who I was pretty sure were natives. Dark colors are good for the reasons already mentioned.

Enjoy your trip.

When my 22 year old fashion conscious daughter returned from a school trip to Prague two years ago, she told us it looked like the U.S. had sent all their clothing from the 70's and 80's to the locals. However, now the 80's fashions are back so maybe they were ahead of the game.
I have whittled down the amount I pack so I generally take dark colored bottoms but I like color around my face so I do a lot of mix and match tops. I know I will always look like a tourist because I always have a camera in my hand. So,pack what you like and are comfortable wearing and have a great trip.

I just came back from Prague. . . Itīs soo touristy. To avoid standing out I would wear jeans and a solid colored jacket. Avoid any baseball hats. Also avoid white tennis shoes. carry a messenger bag or your keys/wallet in your front pocket.

If it's so touristy, wouldn't one blend in better with a baseball cap, white tennies, etc.?
