And do take time to explore the village of Giverny itself - https://www.google.com/search?q=giverny+village+images&tbm=isch&tbo=u&sou rce=univ&sa=X&ved=0ahUKEwiayoa4mPLZAhWn3YMKHa0-CKkQsAQIKA&biw=1920&bih=949

And another Giverny museum - the American Museum documenting and showcases of loads of young American artists who flocked to this Impressionists' colony on the Seine, many drawn by Monet whose picture 'Sunrise an Impression" done in his hometown of Le Havre gave rise to the art genre Imprfessionism:

And check out the village graveyard where Monet lies under a rather unostentacious tombstone.

So consider doing other than just beelining to Monet's oft mobbed House and Garden and take time to explore the other things found in the pleasant French village cacooning the Gardens +House.

The old rail line that Monet once commuted from Giverny to Rouen to do his Rouen Cathedral studies paintings and other local scenes is now a nice footpatjh running along but a bit higher than the Seine. It's a few-mile walk to the outskirts of Vernon - I've walked it and a neat way to reach Monet for the walking inclined.
