overnight stay between Prague and Budapest
Traveling by auto between Prague and Budapest with one stop in Svitavy to visit my Great Grandmother's hometown from which she immigrated in the early 1900's, Have one more night to visit some place on the way to Budapest and wonder whether someone could recommend an interesting town to visit.

Bratislava?

Much depends on how direct your route from Prague to Budapest will be.

Have been to Vienna but not Bratislava...what do you like about it?

Nothing one way or another - just thinking it's a place to stop for the night and as a national capital with a castle right on the Danube it could be worth a short visit.
