Why on earth would you want to use an overnight bus when there is a hotel train? See www.renfe.es.
Cheapest seat seems to be 54 euros, and cheapest bunk is 76 euros.

There is also the train...
Lusitania overnight train is only direct Madrid-Lisbon train - no through daytime service.
Overnight train fares each way:
$67 for a reserved seat
$93 for a berth in a 4-person compartment
$117 p.p. for a private double
$167 for a single compartment
$162 p.p. for a Gran Class Double (shower, toilet, wash basin, dinner and breakfast included!)
$225 single gran class
(These are fares thru RailEurope in US - compare with www.renfe.es - Spanish rail web site - at times RailEurope's may be less than in Spain. RailEurope charges $15 booking fee and a mailing fee i believe - I always recommend booking thru BETS (800-441-9413), a RE agent who doesn't charge some of their fees and for their expertise.
So considering you save a night's hotel and sleeping in a berth on train is preferable to in a bus seat - the train may be the most economical way - and takes you right into the heart of Lisbon or Madrid.
