oslo, please help
Our cruise ship will be in oslo for the day and I really want my husband and son to see just how beautiful the fjords are. Of course I would love for them to see the sognefjord, I saw it last year and was in awe. Is there any hope of me showing them just how beautiful the fjords are. any advice is greatly appreciated

Well, Oslo is on a fjord of course, which is pretty beautiful. But no you really don't have any way of getting to the western fjords and back in a day and still be on your cruise when it leaves.
Does the cruise offer an excusion away from the city? Otherwise just enjoy Oslo, maybe visit one of the islands in the fjord if the city doesn't appeal. Though we like Oslo a lot I know many people don't.
