Pardon me if this is a dumb question, but does the Orient Express run to Venice?<BR><BR>If so, can anyone point me to a Web site and/or provide some basic background info (such as where does it depart from)?<BR><BR>My wife and I are considering Venice for our next big trip (around September 2004) and this would be something different.<BR><BR>Thanks.

Something that may be of interest is that there are actually 2 Orient Expresses. One is the one mentioned above, which is a recreation of the original, luxury Venice Simplon OE. However, there is also the &quot;real&quot; Orient Express which runs Paris-Vienna with normal cars and id coded as a &quot;EuroNight&quot; train (262/263). We took the Orient Express picked up in London (a different train) and then the actual Orient Express train to Venice and return. To tell the truth it is just a very expensive train ride not worth the money unless you are on the train with a bunch of fun loving people. It is an experience which will yield many memories, however. But the staterooms are small, the ride uncomfortable with much of it in the dark of night. The dining is nice.
