For me it would be Paris everytimne. I agree with Progul.....there is something beautiful and new around every corner!
Rome is lovely, but the ambience and "feel" of the city, to me, doesn't compare to Paris.

iamsam, you can't know which city you'll love more until you get there, experience them both, eat the food, meet the locals, etc. Research what you want to do/see in each place and make your decision based on your interests.
