Ok, You have 6000 posts to read but ask it again

In Rome March 1/08 to March 7/08. Our 45th annv. Boy what fun we've had. Need to put my bride in a swanky joint for these days. For a little love and affection.
After the above takes place we need a hotel with an elevator at least.
Money is money so it don't matter anymore.
A view is important.
After all it is part of the romance and she like to romance the pants so to speak. Now I don't want a sex hotel. We do that in California.
So if anyone can assist this ole geezer with a wooden solider in his pants and my wonderful Geezerette with memories of fonder times back then, thanks so much.
Rome I am sure has changed since 52, so I hope you knowledgeable people out there can spin some magic for us. Plaza Navona, Campo de Fiori?

In Rome,

Eden Hotel.

Proper attire is essential. With or without the wooden "solider"

Jiminy crickets! We remember being there when proper attire was our birthday suits. After the war, it was lucky if you had food, let alone clothes. Glad to see nothings changed! ( I pray ).
Or does this mean that I have to strangle myself every morning with a tie, like when I was building the Empire?
The Ole Ponti is a cheapie huh ?
Like and who in heavens creation is Utell, or is that a Google too.
I don't want the bride runnin away with a VP of Utell or we might just have to buy em to get some revenge.
Better served on a cold dish, may I say and I am sure that has not changed in Italy.
Thanks for the links so far though.
I may be old but I still get jealous.

Not weird, not a joke. Just enjoy life and don't question or consider everything in the world has some angle or "reason".
You may feel the world has gone to hell in a hand basket but personally, I will miss old terra firma.
Just gimme a good hotel and get a girlie magazine if that will solve your problem.
For some reason today the world thinks the next guy wants to eat his lunch and I have noticed that even if it is virtualy, they still get pissed.
Oh woe is me, straight from a Christmas Carol that line, or Zounds as Billy Shakespeare would more than likely say.
We have seven kids that are alot like me and that I truly feel is a good thing.
See, get ready cause when you hit the big 80 and beyond..........YOU RAMBLE.
Hotels , please or do I have to "do the jiggie" in the Hassler.
Guess I will just go to the Hassler if you jet setters can't help grandpa.

I hope that when I have been married for FIFTY-SIX years, I can still do the math to subtract 1952 from 2008.

Best wishes... for continued respirations, and neurotransmitter functioning...

Hey snoreo, congrats on 45 - we just hit 40 and celebrated in Italy but not in Rome - in Venice, FLorence, and Tuscany. Wow I am so impressed about the wooden soldier...does he stand up to attention by himself or do you help him with some "blues".

I also like you attitude about money is money so it don't matter anymore! Just what I say to my DW, hey we better spend it cause if we don't the kids sure as 'ell will eh?

Cheers and have a ball!

rex, Snoreo mentions 52, which I gather to mean that was the last time he was in Rome, but he doesn't say he got married in 52....

I love this posts! It's fun and lively and offers a nice variation to the typical posts. And congrats on 45 years!

Ahhh; So from my slumber I awake and see action in the bullpen. This is good, this is good. Now if I can only get a hotel or two instead of having "a beautiful life" mathamatitions figure 52 fron 08 for the sake of lookin for angles.
Young fellow. this is about a room for three weeks and not about subtraction.
Now, if you want something to meausure.........
So, I love to see others out there with their tounge still firmly in their cheeks and a glass of the hair that bit the dog firmly grasped. steady, to deavour the world. A most wonderful world Louie, a most wonderful world.

PS; Does anybody still listen tho the hot fives or the hot sevens?
And there are the typo's since nobody seems to give a damn.

Do that math.
