Yes, that is correct from all that I have read. It must be another bus line/number. You could not take a scenic route to the end and then turn around and take it back with same ticket.

I am laughing because I used the same bus ticket to take the same bus back to my hotel within 90 minutes and the machine would always BUZZ in error. I couldn't figure out why & just shrugged while I took a seat. I did this several times and realized after I returned to the US that I was not following the transfer rules!

I just made one for Marcy for early December. Depending on the time of the year, I would make them as early as you have your plans. They do not book online!

I have just returned from Bar Vendome. Wonderful lunch. I had forgotten that it was in Phil's name for a minute! I do hope he was thinking of it from between about 6 and 8 this morning Chicago time! I even took a picture of his empty seat!! We are all set for Armistice Day though! Wil post photos shortly...

Thanks for the pictures...I think. Waiting to take laundry out of the dryer so am sitting at my kitchen island munching on somewhat stale pretzels with a flat Diet Coke.

Bonjour..

Unbelievable weather..do not need a coat!!

I had some shopping to do for a friend and did some wandering and saw owner of Pottoka ousidetheir restaurant. They are open on Monday, so decided to give them another try. Returning for lunch at 1:00!!

Hi Roberta,

The pics were from the Pinot. I will be leaving it on Wednesday.

Yes, it was a good lunch at Pottoka.

Phil and I have decided on La Taverna for Sat the 12th..Friday the 11th (Armistice Day) is Bar Vendome. He will occupy his seat this time!!

It is really warm!! Don't know how long it will last!

Oooo, Pottaka looks good (scallops look really wonderful)!

Any comments on Josephine Chez Dumonet? I remember a great post on it from last year (cafe goddess??)...wondering if you have been and what your experience was...hear they have great Grand Marnier Souffle-a favorite of mine.
