Obey Stupid Laws?

PalQ: I think you have a wonderful idea..jist disobey any laws you "think" are "stupid" and in return, here's what I'm going to do: run your silly ass over with my car in the crosswalk...and please don't complain when nothing legal happens to me because I decided to disobey that "law" I think is stupid..you know, the one that says you go to jail if you kill people!

I'm not sure of the exact juridical status of the Germanic practice of waiting to be told to cross the street, but I've always assumed it is at best "administrative" rather than a moral or criminal issue.
