Nov. Weather

What kind of weather should we expect the 2nd week of Nov. in Barcelona? Rainy?

Only the weatherman knows, but usually 24 hours after it passes.

You might try going to weatherunderground.com and looking at he weather history for particular November dates in Barcelona...it will be as accurate as anything you'll hear here.

Who knows!
I once spent Christmas in BCN and we was on the beach for christmas day. Is this the norm? I doubt it.

Maybe you didn't swim but it was warm enough to be on the beach, was that it? From my experience, that can well be the norm. It was not Xmas but I walked on the beach on the 1st of January 3 times including this year. It was always in the afternoon, sunny to half sun/half cloud. Very calm with maybe a light breeze only, tempreture moderate. Definitely it's not a swmming wheather. Most people come for promeade, sitting on the sand, enjoy the winter sun. There WERE still not many but some crazy people (good for them!) were in the water.
