nov 24th holiday germany
is this day a holiday in germany as i have read? what will i find open on that day in berlin and/or munich? would it be a good day to consider a travelling day rather than a site seeing day? thanks

Hi,
after checking with two calenders: The 24th is NO holiday. Itys an ordinary Monday. But the 23rd was Totensonntag (Sunday in commemoration of the dead - says my dictionary).
Only thing to consider for your travel: Most museums are closed on Monday, the hairdressers and a lot of restaurants have their day off on Mondays.
