Norway

I am a student at Uppsala and my boyfriend and I want to tour Norway. We have 3 days at the end of Oct beginning of Nov. Any recommendations for sights this time of year? Should we take a train to Oslo and rent a car there?

Thanks!

Where do you want to go in Norway? If you have only three days, you won't have time to see much. You cannot "tour Norway" in three days or even a week.
If you have three days, explore places around Oslo which can be done very easily without renting a car.

For 3 days, go to Oslo. You'll have plenty to do there.

And go by train. It is a long, boring drive from Uppsala to Oslo. In Oslo, do the town and waterfront area. On the second day, take a boat to Bygdoy and see the Viking Museum and the Skansen (old village). Also see the Kon Tiki exhibit. With travel time, that will about do it. But, it is worthwhile. Have a good trip.

You could spend a day doing the Norway in a Nutshell tour from Bergen if you get that far. Tickets and info from the tourist office in the wharf area.
