First trip to norway?!

We will have 6 full days in Norway. I need iten help! It will be myself wife and 2 grandsons! We will be flying in from CPH. WE want to see the beautiful vistas, fjords,, glaciers, etc. No camping or long strenuous hikes. Where should we visit in our short time and what are some fun activities for us all to do? We will be going in early to mid may and the kids are (17,14)
THanks in advance!

What age are the grandsons? The viking ship museum and the Kon-Tiki museum (within walking distance of each other)in Oslo may be of interest. You then would want to take the Norway In a Nutshell trip from Oslo to Bergen (there may be the possibility of doing the same trip but going back to Oslo).

You may want to read my trip report which included 6 days of traveling in the fjord area by car; click on my name to find it.

I forgot: you do not need to do the NIN trip in a single day.

We visited last summer and did the NIN trip from Oslo to Bergen with our 8 & 10 year old daughters. We broke it up by spending a night in Flam. I highly recommend breaking it up as spending the entire time in transit can get dull for the kids, even with amazing scenery. We chose Flam because it was right on the route and stayed in the Flam Marina Apartments. It was right on the water and we were able to rent a little boat and ride out into the fjord on our own - one of my girls' highlights of the trip. We flew into Oslo and out of Bergen which saved a lot of time.

1) this is a wealthy country so either bring plenty of money or go full board and eat the tourist special
2) you are pretty far north so the summer days are pretty long this allows trecking after supper etc
