No Prems - Loisir?

Trying to TGV from LaRochelle to Paris on June 26. The 10:56 train, which is the one that makes sense for us, has not had any PREM fair quoted since 60 days out.

There were Prems for Monday thru Wednesday at much better prices, but never a PREM on our travel day.

Should I wait a few more days, or just book the Loisir? Its Euro. My concern is that the Loisir, not being a PREM, I can't print out my own ticket... and that will be something new for me, having used Prems twice before.

I didn't fully translate the words next to the Loisir fare word for word, but got the impression that up until the day of the trip I could make changes... I don't think that means I could get my money back and apply it toward a PREM if they opened one up.

If I bought the Loisir, I would do so in expectation of using it: believe I read I can go to any SNCF station and give them my ID and credit card I used and they will give me the ticket. Is that all?

Any advice?

If no Prem's are listed for the 10:56 train, then all the allotted seats are gone for good. Book the Loisir fare and choose this option for ticket retrieval: "Retirer votre billet aux guichets d'une gare ou boutique SNCF en vous munissant du numéro de dossier et de la carte bancaire utilisée pour le paiement." Yes, that's all.

Hi B,

Your Loisir ticket can be exchanged or returned up to the evening before departure. 10E fee on day of departure. Not refundable after the train leaves.

You bring the confirmation number and the CC to any train station or SNCF boutique.

Enjoy your visit.
