No Photos!

Hi:

While I can understand some peoples disappointment of missing a good photo opportunity. I was at St Stephen's Cathedral (Stephansdom, Vienna) on a Sunday morning while the church service was taking place.

I'm not sure which was tackier - letting tourists (like me) in during the service, or the tourists taking pictures/video taping the service. However, I limited my pathetic attempt of phototography to the amazing exterior & chose to capture the interior images mentally.

If buying a postcard helps financially support a treasured site, then all the more reason to do so! This is a positive reason, not negative (as seemed implied by one poster above).

Photographer or not. Reasonable reasons or not(they are) If that is the rule why all this nonsense> You are in someone else's domain, just as I have the right to say no smoking in my home.
Looking at the real thing, like your loved one is so much better than a photo anyway. so et's enjoy our moments looking.
