You have a lot of good suggestions. And you have a great hotel! I go to Stockholm often because of heritage and many relatives. I have led groups there, so have seen most of the sights. Were I going alone, I would put the Thielska Gallery and Millesgården (It takes quite a while to get there) at the top of my list. I would eat at my favorite restaurant, Fem Små Hus on Gamla Stan and also at Prinsens. I have taken the Under the Bridges Tour, and it was great, but I did it in the summertime. All of us are different, so what one likes, another may not.
If you are interested in modern art, the Modern Art Museum is quite good. The National Museum is very near your hotel.
Enjoy Stockholm!

Hello everyone,
Thanks for posting all these great ideas. Sorry I can't answer each one individually right now. I've got to get packed - find all my warm things.
I'll print all this off tomorrow night.
I really appreciate your thoughts!

I had an amazing weekend in Stockholm with my husband. Candles and balsam trees were everywhere in lovely Swedish simplicity. I'm quite glad we were there for this season as it was very special.
I'll try to get a full report done in a week or two.
Thanks again to all who gave such good advice.
