New London Show Recommendations

Will be in London this September. Are there any new shows that are not to be missed? Thank you.

If you are interested in Wicked, Idina Menzel is opening the London production. She originated the role of Elphaba on Broadway and won a Tony (ditto the role of Maureen in Rent). (If you go, please consider tucking another Fodorite in your luggage! )

haha, do you think you could stow-away? Thanks for the info.

We've seen Wicked in Boston, it was very good. We've booked Mary Poopins and Billy Elliot. Have previously seen Chicago, Les Mis, Phantom, and Miss Saigon.

Didn't see Hay Fever listed.

Has anyone seen the Donkey Years, sounds like fun?

Thanks to all.

In April I saw Mary Popping and Billy Elliot. I highly recommend both.
