This is very much an addiction! I had no idea, no one warned me from the beginning that I would need a Fodor's fix every day.
Try doing a search on the title of your post. If it isn't deleted it should pop up.
Remember, I warned you!

Yes, it can become an addiction.

To see a list of all the threads that you've participated in, just click on your name in the top-left corner of the page (next to "Welcome"
. Or you can do a search on the title or other unique phrase, but I'm not sure how often the search function is updated.

Before the click-on-you-name feature was added, yet another way to keep track was to select an unusual county (Coratia, Ukraine) as a keyword, then later you could search on that!

If you click on your name you get a list of all your postings on all forums. If you type your name in the text search window you get a list of your postings only on this forum. Very convenient.

This "could become an addiction"? Aren't you addicted already

Perhaps some search problems come about because people select an odd country that isn't applicable to the post, as someone suggested. I wasn't aware people would do that, but I don't think it's a good idea because anyone searching for that information will never find the post, most likely, if they select the right country for the subject. So you may find your own post if you start it under Luxembourg, if it's really about London, but the info won't be that useful to others in the future.

Now that you can click on your own name, it's real easy.

Fun for a year or so, then a few decided to make it all very personal, and the site changed. Now we register, thankfully! Can't quite imagine being here as addictive, but I suppose that's true for some. I still find the site helpful for planning some trips, and for all the help, I am most appreciative.

This is the very best kind of addiction because it is fun, legal and rewarding to get innocents "hooked" too. Then you can discuss Fodor's instead of the world situation and/or your kids, etc.

I do not have a clue how I could have made my first trip to Europe last November without Fodor's. What terrific people and a wonderful learning experience. I did not think I would be back "on" when I returned; however, I just picked a new area for my next (I hope) trip, and I'm back in full addictive style.

Enjoy every moment!
