need reservations in Sicily?

need reservations in Sicily?
My husband and I are going to Sicily for 5 days at the end of May on our way to Athens-we haven't made any reservations at hotels yet. Can we count on finding rooms when we get there? We would like to just be able to go wherever we want, whenever we want. Any input would be appreciated!

You will find hotels but not the ones you would have preferred if you had planned ahead. Here are images of Sicily in May---you will love it. But, in 5 days you will only scratch the surface.

The drawback to going wherever you want whenever you want is spending a good deal of the time you might be spending wherever searching for a place to stay. With only 5 days for Sicily I wouldn't want to waste that kind of time.
