Need Rec: Vineyard visit near Castellina in Chianti
I'd love any recommendations for a winery visit in the vicinity of Castellina in Chianti. We'll be there for a week during the 1st week of September. About 8 of us and 4 are serious about wine (the rest just like to drink the good stuff when provided!). Can be with a meal or without but want something special.
Appreciate any ideas you can share so we can make a reservation with them asap.

We had a very nice wine tasting here a few years ago. Verrazzano is in Greve in Chianti, not far from where you will be.

Two years ago I toured this winery on the advice of an Italian sommelier friend of mine. It is between Radda and Gaiole in Chianti. It was fantastic. They also have modern art installations all over the property and the food in their restaurant is very very good. Highly recommend.
